Community Trip!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This morning we left Nowlin at 9:30 and went to Petco. \u00a0We saw so many things there. \u00a0Students had a chance to watch 2 dogs being groomed. \u00a0We also saw 1 cat available for adoption. \u00a0In the small animal area we saw ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs and mice. \u00a0We saw parakeets and parrots too!<\/p>\n<p>Each group was able to pick out 2-3 fish to add to our classroom tank. \u00a0It was a very fun life experience. \u00a0I am so proud of all the studnets. \u00a0They behave so well and work together nicely.<\/p>\n<p>This is a tank<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It was a very worth while experience. \u00a0Even if you don&#8217;t have pets in your home, visiting a store like Petco gives children exposure to domestic
