In May of 2017, I finished my Master\u2019s Degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a degree in Learning Disabilities. \u00a0This is my eighth year at Stout, but have been with the Stout family going on ten years. I started as a pre-student teacher, a student teacher, and a long term substitute, finally they decided to keep me! <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/12.0.0-1\/svg\/1f642.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude42\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When I am not in school, teaching or learning, I spend my free time binge watching Netflix, reading my latest Book of the Month Club book, watching the Tigers, running, \u00a0and playing with my 7 year old pup, who acts like she is 6 months old, Emma, along with my moms two dogs, Maddie and Minnie! All three of them have more energy combined than I do, so they are always keeping me busy! During the school year, I coach Girls\u2019 Track and Field and CANNOT wait until track starts again! In my ten years of teaching at Stout, I have spent the majority of my teaching 7th grade Social Studies, so I am looking forward to the change this year to 8th grade!
