Get plenty of rest each night.<br \/>\n2. Always eat breakfast.<br \/>\n3. Attend school every day.<br \/>\n4. Always be on time.<br \/>\n5. Leave toys and other distractions at home.<br \/>\n6. Make sure you are prepared with proper supplies each day, including your homework.<br \/>\n7. Read, read, and read some more! Read anything, read everything! (Cereal boxes, comics, magazines, poems, books, letters from Mom and Dad, etc.) All students must read every day in order to learn and grow. Be sure to take the time to read.<br \/>\n8. Practice math facts (addition, subtraction, and soon multiplication and division).<br \/>\n9. Practice telling time and counting money.<br \/>\n10. Practice writing skills using capital letters, cursive, punctuations, etc.<br \/>\n11. Know your full address and telephone number with area code.<\/p>\n<p>This is a big year for fourth grade students. It is a year of tremendous growth and change. In addition to a focus on academics, we will emphasize personal growth in the areas of responsibility and independence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; 1.
