I have been very restless and took a bike ride this morning to enjoy the fresh air, it was very nice!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our 4th and 5th graders have been learning about our Government, and I wanted to share some resources that would be very enriching and powerful for them to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wethepeople.scholastic.com\/grade-4-6.html\">Scholastic: We the People<\/a> is a civics and media literacy resource that provides information on the following topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>How Our Government Works<\/li><li>Democracy in Action<\/li><li>Kids Get Involved<\/li><li>Mastering Media<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/junior.scholastic.com\/issues\/2017-18\/090417\/5-minute-guide-to-the-us-constitution.html\">Scholastic Junior: 5 Minute Guide to the U.S. Constitution<\/a> is another Scholastic publication that discusses how the Constitution created our government and how it affects us.
