My name is Leah Polster and I have been teaching in Dearborn since 2001.\u00a0 I am proud to be a part of one of the best schools in the district and am excited to be your child\u2019s teacher this year.\u00a0 My husband Mark and I live in Dearborn and we have two sons: Max (who is a college Junior) and John (who is in 11th grade). We have a dog, Duke, who is 8 years old (in November).<\/p>\n
I have lived in Dearborn most of my life, I attended Duvall for 4th<\/sup> thru 6th<\/sup> grade, Stout Middle School, and Edsel Ford High School.\u00a0 I graduated from Eastern Michigan University, and then University of Michigan-Dearborn with a Master’s Degree.\u00a0 I have taught second thru fifth grade here at Howe School.<\/p>\n Outside of work I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and friends, moving around – walking my dog, shopping, trying new restaurants and food, and traveling to new places.
