Friday, February 14 – Valentines Party 1:30 – 2:30 students will exchange valentine cards and celebrate Valentines. I will send home a list of student names.<\/p>\n

Math – using ordinal words, creating patterns, identify 2d and 3d shapes, \u00a0comparing numbers and practicing addition facts.<\/p>\n
Writing- Informational research on Polar Bears.<\/p>\n
Science – Living Things\/Basic Needs<\/p>\n
Social Studies – Geography Maps and Globes. Making maps and using personal and cardinal directions.<\/p>\n
First Grade<\/p>\n
Spelling Words – (ch) words – chap, chime, chain (sight words) out, all, came<\/p>\n
Writing – Informational research on Polar Bears<\/p>\n
Math – exploring area, weight, writing more than and less than stories. Practicing addition facts fluently.<\/p>\n
Science- Matter and properties of matter.<\/p>\n
Social Studies- geography using maps and directional terms to study places.<\/p>\n
