If you are meeting us at the zoo, plan on meeting us by the ticket booths near the front entrance. Chaperones should meet in the classroom by 9:00 am to receive your group information.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget your child will need to bring a brown bag lunch from home. We ask that chaperones bring a back-pack to carry your group&#8217;s lunch bags. We need to be back at school by 2:30 pm. So, plan on meeting at the exit gates between 1:15-1:30 pm. The weather is supposed to be nice. So, have your child dress appropriately and apply sunscreen before the field trip.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, May 17<\/strong> &#8211; Late Start. Students report to school an hour later. There will be a sub in the afternoon. I have a committee meeting to attend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, May 18 &#8211;<\/strong> There will be a sub for the whole day. I will be testing kindergartners for the following year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling words for the week &#8211;<\/strong> &#8220;en&#8221; word family &#8211; den, hen, men.\u00a0 sight words &#8211; yellow, are<\/p>\n<p>I want to thank everyone who thought of me during Teacher Appreciation Week. The cards, snacks, flowers and pot-luck luncheon were wonderful.
