I can only except CASH only. If you would like to chaperone, I need to know by Monday also.<\/strong> Once again, all chaperones are required to fill out a history background check along with a copy of your license. I have to call this week with a head count as to how many children and chaperones will be attending, so I can secure our reservation for April 5.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, February 10 &#8211;<\/strong> Valentine mail-boxes are due. Please make sure your child&#8217;s name is on their mail-box.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, February 11<\/strong> &#8211; Join us for the Nowlin&#8217;s Daily Five Parent Workshop Model from 9:30 &#8211; 10:30 a.m. Come and work with your child and learn what reading and writing strategies your child learns during Daily Five.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mrs. Polgar&#8217;s Valentine&#8217;s Party 2:00 &#8211; 3:00 p.m. Please make sure your child has their Valentine cards with their name labeled in a bag to pass out during the party.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, February 12 &#8211;<\/strong> Winter Break &#8211; no school<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, February 15<\/strong> &#8211; Winter Break &#8211; no school<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, February 16 &#8211;<\/strong> All students return to school from Winter Break.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Upcoming Events<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, February 18 &#8211;<\/strong> One Hundred&#8217;s Day Party from 1:30 &#8211; 2:30 p.m. I need (5) volunteers for centers at our party and to help with ice cream sundaes after the party. Room mom&#8217;s will be sending donation and volunteer sign-up this week.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Peek at the Week<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling Test &#8211; will be given on Thursday, February 11. Spelling words for week &#8211;\u00a0 &#8220;ot&#8221; family &#8211; top, mop, pop\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 sight words- one, two, red<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Book Bags &#8211;<\/strong> Please sign the enclosed reading log in your child&#8217;s reading bag. This way I know they are practicing reading at home.
