More information will go home in your child&#8217;s folder this week. I will need five chaperones for the field trip. So, check your calendar if you can join us at the zoo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Testing<\/strong> &#8211; This week kindergartners will take the NWEA Reading Assessment in the computer lab. Last week,<del><\/del> I started DRA reading assessments in class. Hopefully, I will be finished up on reading assessments this week. So, possibly mid-week I will start up reading groups and book bags will go home.<\/p>\n<p><em>Spring is the time when teachers see so much growth in reading and writing. So, I am very excited to see the growth and progress my classroom has made from the beginning of the year to now.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling words<\/strong> &#8211; &#8220;ad&#8221; family &#8211; bad, dad, had\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 sight words &#8211; where, funny<\/p>\n<p>They are predicting temps in the 70&#8217;s next week. So, please make sure you dress your child in cool, comfortable clothing.
