Wear your tiger shirt or blue and orange.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kindergarten\/First Grade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Writing<\/strong> &#8211; Last week we had fun having the first graders read their &#8220;How to Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich.&#8221; The best part was making the PB&amp;J sandwich and eating it! This week we will begin working on informational research reports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling Words<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kindergarten<\/strong> &#8211; &#8220;it&#8221; word family &#8211; bit, hit, sit, pit\u00a0\u00a0 sight words &#8211; find, help<\/p>\n<p><strong>First Grade<\/strong> &#8211; &#8220;pl&#8221; &amp; &#8220;fl&#8221; blends &#8211; plop, plug, plan, flash, flat, flap,\u00a0 sight words &#8211; must, please, saw<\/p>\n<p>We had a lot of fun during March is Reading Month. Although reading month is over students should still read each night for homework to continue to building fluency. I am really pleased with our class participation during reading month.<\/p>\n<p>Spring is Here!
