My name is Jillian Pius– I will be your child’s English-Language Arts (ELA) teacher this summer in the Blended Learning Summer Program at Lowrey.<\/p>\n
In order for us to have a smooth (and learning-filled) summer, I wanted to explain the requirements for the ELA program. We will be using MobyMax–a website that be accessed on any computer, phone, or tablet with internet access. Students will be required to attend this week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9am-12noon.<\/p>\n
Your child must work on 4 different subjects each week. They must complete at least 20 minutes of practice in each subject with at least 70 percent correct each week. I will also be walking your student through the requirements this week at Lowrey. The subjects that they must work on are:<\/p>\n
I will be emailing you updates twice a week–usually on Mondays and Fridays. If your student did not complete the weekly requirements, they will be required to come in on Wednesdays from 9am-11am. I will be letting you know if Wednesday attendance is required no later than Mondays at 8pm.<\/p>\n
