I\u00a0used this opportunity to connect this worthy cause into a teaching moment. \u00a0How did I\u00a0do it? \u00a0I\u00a0connected it to social studies (helping people in our community) and in math by graphing our items that were brought in and then analyzing our graphs! \u00a0The students really enjoyed constructing the graph and then analyzing it!<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to everyone who participated in the food drive! \u00a0We will have a bagel or pizza party in the future. \u00a0Congratulations and enjoy your time off with your wonderful child:)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>our class!!!!! \u00a0We collected \u00a0a total of 156 items for families in Dearborn that are in need of some extra help during these months.
