We will begin Unit 3 on Monday.  The second graders need to practice telling time, as well as the passage of time.  The third graders need to practice problems with regrouping.  Both grades need to practice their basic math facts.<br \/>\nWe are continuing work with the Cafe Menu.  The children are practicing their reading strategies.  Please use the Parent Pipelines at home.  Our Book Bags will begin coming home on Monday.<br \/>\nWe have just finished our compare\/contrast stories.  The final copies are hanging in the hall. I will send them home shortly. We are paying attention to the organization of our stories.  Of course, grammar rules are always important.<br \/>\nThe PTA &#8216;s Fall Festival will be on Friday.  I hope you can come and enjoy.  The classroom party will be on Monday, October 31.
