The traits are: Ideas, Organzation, Word Choice, Sentence Fluency, Voice, and Conventions.  Throughout the year we will focus on each trait.  Currently we are focusing on ORGANIZATION.  Following are the components of that trait.<\/p>\n<p>ORGANIZATION<\/p>\n<p>-How does my paper begin?<\/p>\n<p>-Did I tell things in order?<\/p>\n<p>-Does everything link to my message?<\/p>\n<p>-How does my paper end?<\/p>\n<p>Encourage your child to use this trait when writing, along with the IDEA trait which we covered earlier in the year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are using the 6 + 1 Traits of writing.
