BASED ON CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The students wrote stories based on this book.\u00a0 Following will be the student&#8217;s stories.\u00a0 We hope you enjoy them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Storms of Chew and Swallow by Karolina<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> One day on a sunny summer day in the morning of Chew and Swallow pancakes fell from the sky.\u00a0 all the pancakes were sticky from all the syrup .\u00a0 Then, before everyone knew it, it was lunch time.\u00a0 For lunch, a big sandwich fell out of the sky.\u00a0 And everyone had to share it in the whole city.\u00a0 it was very unusual.\u00a0 At dinner time everyone in Chew and swallow came running out with their forks, knives, and plates.\u00a0 Out came hamburgers shooting from the sky, it was just pounding down hot hamburgers!\u00a0 Everyone went inside to wait for it to stop.\u00a0 All this craziness went on, so everyone left Chew and Swallow and the mayor closed it down.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Cloudy with a Chance of Coconuts by Joe H.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> One day, there was a city in Hawaii called Foodsville.\u00a0 there was coconuts for breakfast, lunch and dinner.\u00a0 for drinks they got a spare coconut they broke in half and drank.\u00a0 But the problem is, there are TONS of visitors and the food falls from the sky and the visitors don&#8217;t know that.\u00a0 But if they want food they&#8217;ll have to stand under a tree.\u00a0 The food falls from trees.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cloudy with a Chance of Ice Cream by Nathan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> In the town of Chocolate Drizzle it rained chocolate drops and it was December and it snowed ice cream and hailed sprinkles!\u00a0 And when it stormed it was like a giant bottle pouring from the sky!\u00a0 One morning a little boy woke up and saw that it was snowing!\u00a0 Then a bit later it was a really bad storm.\u00a0 No one could go outside.\u00a0 It was too dangerous.\u00a0 after the storm a beautiful rainbow.\u00a0 The rainbow was a giant chocolate bar and everyone lived happily in Chocolate Drizzle.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Cooper&#8217;s Story<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> There once was a little small house with a dog named Fluffy.\u00a0 And two boys named Nick and Tony, they were both twelve years old.\u00a0 But they were not twins.\u00a0 Their mom was named Kim.\u00a0 Then their house got too small because Kim had a baby.\u00a0 Then they went to Chew and Swallow.\u00a0 They didn&#8217;t know that food came from the sky.\u00a0 Then Tony went in the backyard.\u00a0 Then he got hit by a giant hamburger on the head.\u00a0 Then Tony went in the house and told his brother Nick and his mom Kim.\u00a0 Then Kim went outside and almost got hit by a giant hamburger too.\u00a0 Then Kim said &#8220;We should leave this place.&#8221;\u00a0 So they are going to move somewhwere else tomorrow.\u00a0 Then in the morning they had pancakes.\u00a0 Then their house got covered with a giant pancake.\u00a0 So then Kim opened the window a little bit.\u00a0 Then she ate some pancake.\u00a0 Then she called her boys to pack their bags.\u00a0 So they could leave.\u00a0 Then they moved again.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Yummy in My Tummy by Bishop<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> One day there was sausage for breakfast.\u00a0 So all the people ate it.\u00a0 For lunch hot, hot hot dogs.\u00a0 They were very, very good.\u00a0 For dinner it was good pizza.\u00a0 The food came from the sky.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Cloudy with a Chance of Ice Cream by Tony<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> Once there was a boy who invented a machine.\u00a0 He lived in the city called Chew and Swallow.\u00a0 Every day he would go outside with his plate and his dog.\u00a0 The food was coming down.\u00a0 The dog had meat and the people ate steak and noodles with a pop.\u00a0 Then he said it&#8217;s working.\u00a0 Everyone looked outside and they saw food.\u00a0 so they went out there.\u00a0 Then everyone in Chew and Swallow had to escape from there because the food was getting bigger.\u00a0 They made boats out of food. so they could escape.\u00a0 It took them a year to get to a new city so they could be safe.\u00a0 so they get to the new city and they can almost smell the ice cream.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cloudy with a Chance of a Banana Split by Jordyn<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> One day it was raining banana splits in a town called Chew and Swallow.\u00a0 Banana splits\u00a0 was dessert.\u00a0 The morning news said 100% chance of cereal for breakfast and grilled cheese for lunch.\u00a0 And the afternoon news came on and it said for dinner we are having spaghetti and for dessert was banana splits.\u00a0 And after dessert everyone went to bed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Breakfast Lunch and Everything Else by Jasminn<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> One day in a city called Chew and Swallow lots and lots of people went to there.\u00a0 One morning a girl named Emma wanted to eat breakfast, so Emma went outside and it was raining milk and pancakes and sausage.\u00a0 and Emma loved pancakes and sausage.\u00a0 Emma&#8217;s mom woke up.\u00a0 Emma said, I made pancakes and they ate.\u00a0 At lunch they ate hamburgers, fries, and a milk shake.\u00a0 Emma loves milk shakes.\u00a0 It was good.\u00a0 And for dinner they have spaghetti , mash potatoes and strawberry pop.\u00a0 I love Chew and Swallow.\u00a0 For dessert we have ice cream sundaes and a cookie too.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cafe Breakfast Lunch Dinner and Dessert by Kendall<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>One day my family lived in Cafe Breakfast Lunch Dinner and Dessert.\u00a0 One day I heard something on the roof.\u00a0 I woke up and my brother went to go look.\u00a0 He saw a giant sausage on our chimney.\u00a0 So he began to eat the sausage with his brother and mother and his family.\u00a0 and they lived happily ever after.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br
