Our focus this week:
\nReading–We continue working with informational test. Thank you for reading the Fluency Passages with your child and talking to them about their reading. It does make a difference!
\nWriting- We continue to work on our research paper on famous people. The children are doing a great job collecting their facts. I can’t wait to read their finished reports.
\nSpelling– Lesson 15 test will be Friday.
\nScience– We are continuing to learn about Earth’s Processes. We will be learning about weathering. Last week we finished our discussions about volcanoes. Ask your child about The Ring of Fire.
\nSocial Studies– We have a test on Tuesday. We then will be learning about the Federal Government.
\nMath- We are multiplying. <\/p>\n
Remember our Mitten Drive. It ends next Friday.
\nThere is a PTA meeting Monday.
\nWednesday,December 12 is a Late Start.
\nNext Thursday, December 20 we will have a Holiday Celebration in our room. It will be low key, like our Fall Celebration. If you would like to send in a treat bag for the children to take home, please do so.
