We will be looking at the features of this genre as well as main idea and details.<br \/>\nReminder:<br \/>\nThe Fluency Folders will continue to come home throughout the year. Please continue to read with your child. It does make a difference! Also, these passages will continue to increase in difficulty as the children become more proficient in reading and answering questions.<br \/>\nWriting\u2013 We are continuing our work on our opinion papers&#8211; What Makes the Best Pet, Dogs or Cats?  We are focusing on Leads and Transition words.<br \/>\nSpelling\u2013we are on Lesson 5. Words are in the planner and were posted on the blog Friday. The test will be Friday.<br \/>\nMath\u2013 We are continuing our learning about place value, comparing numbers and rounding.<br \/>\nSocial Studies\u2013 We will be learning about Special Purpose Maps.<br \/>\nScience\u2013Energy\u2013How Things Move. <\/p>\n<p>Notes were sent home to parents who did not sign up for Parent-Teacher Conferences.  Please make your choices.
