\nNovember 7 there is no school.
\nNovember 9 Conferences begin. A reminder of your time was put in your child’s planner last week. Please have your child come with you,they are included in this conference.<\/p>\n
Our learning focus:
\nReading–We will be focusing on literature.
\nWriting– We will be writing narratives.
\nMath- Our focus is multiplication. We will work on solving multiplication problems as well as learning the terms factors,prime number and composite number.
\nScience– Our focus turns to rocks and minerals, as it relates to the earth’s surface. We will include changes to the earth surface in this study.
\nSocial Studies– We will be focusing on why people move to different places ( the expansion of the United States). We will look at the Underground railroad, The Orphan Train and Westward expansion.<\/p>\n
