Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday, spring forward.<\/p>\n

The permission slip for our April 8th field trip to the State Capitol and the Michigan Historical Museum will come home March 11. \u00a0Please read these over ( both sides) and sign and return. \u00a0Thank you.<\/p>\n

There is a Late Start Wednesday this week.<\/p>\n

We were very fortunate to have Mrs. Pratt as a guest reader. \u00a0The children are really enjoying our guest readers! \u00a0Thank you to all who can do this activity.<\/p>\n

Our spelling words for Lesson 23 are: there, cashier, earlier, anywhere, flier, where, carrier, copier, interfere, crier.<\/p>\n

We will continue our work on Public Issues in Social Studies. \u00a0We are looking at issues that are important in Michigan, like the water crisis and wind turbines.<\/p>\n

The children are growing as readers. \u00a0We continue to work on our strategies in both fiction and nonfiction. \u00a0Please continue reading with your child every night for twenty minutes, it does make a difference. \u00a0 Asking questions throughout your reading time, helps with your child’s comprehension. \u00a0Also, \u00a0please continue to check your March is Reading Month calendar \u00a0for activities to do daily with your child.<\/p>\n
