R.A.C.E. is an an acronym for a simple writing strategy that can help students construct more thoughtful and thorough responses. This strategy can be modified to fit all grade levels.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s how to help your students win at writing!<\/p>\n
1. RESTATE<\/strong> \u2013 Students restate the question in the form of a topic sentence.<\/p>\n 2. ANSWER<\/strong> \u2013 Students answer ALL parts of the question.<\/p>\n 3. CITE<\/strong> \u2013 Students cite examples from the text that support their answer.<\/p>\n 4.
