The focus is the vowel sound\/o\/.<\/p>\n<p>In Reading we are finishing our study of myths. \u00a0 We will be focusing on character traits. \u00a0If you are able to visit the library, \u00a0check out some myths you can read together and practice reading strategies with your child. \u00a0Also, your child is bringing home their MobyMax login information today. \u00a0I encourage you to use this site. \u00a0There is an assessment section, so that your child will be getting material at his\/her level. \u00a0These assessments can be done in more than one setting.<\/p>\n<p>I am encouraging the children to use their best handwriting for all their work, as well as using complete sentences. \u00a0I am expecting the children to be able to write complete sentences and to begin sentences with a capital letter and end it with the correct punctuation.<\/p>\n<p>Remember to check out the writing, math, science and social studies pages to see what is happening.<\/p>\n<p>Our Leader in Me focus is Habit 3&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=KXySZWQRQAk\" target=\"_blank\">Put First Things First<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week we do have a Late Start on Wednesday, October 7.
