We have a busy week ahead of us. We have the Book Fair all week. Open House is Thursday from 5:30-7:00. I hope to see you there. When you come for Open House don’t forget to sign up for a Parent-Teacher Conference time. Those sheets will be by the office. Also in the room, there will be a sheet to sign up for helping in the auditorium on specific Wednesdays throughout the year. I certainly appreciate your help. Thank you in advance.<\/p>\n

In the classroom here is what is happening.<\/p>\n
Reading- We are practicing our reading strategies to become better readers. At the end of third grade all students should be at a level 38.
\nSocial Studies– We are talking about natural and human characteristics. Also tomorrow is Constitution Day.
\nScience– We are learning about light and sound.
\nWriting– We are working on Personal Narratives. These narratives include paragraphs, dialogue, problem and solution.
\nMath– We are working on sequencing, addition and subtraction.<\/p>\n
A new book report will be coming home tonight. It is due Friday. Also information about 2 math sites that your children can use to improve their math skills will be coming home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
