Thank you for those that were able to attend today\u2019s math parent meeting. \u00a0If you were unable to attend, all the information will be sent home today in your child\u2019s folder. \u00a0Please let me know if you have any questions.<\/h1>\n<\/header>\n
\n

Also, a few asked about when report cards will be sent home. \u00a0They will be sent home on Monday along with student NWEA reports and goals.<\/p>\n

This weekend\u2019s homework:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Folder- shapes and weather paper (2 sides)<\/li>\n
  2. Reading Bag- Digraphs and Blends chart, sight words, and books! students can also go on MYON to listen to reading with their LOGIN\/PASSWORD cards located on the front of their reading bag.<\/li>\n
  3. Math Bag- practice our NEW game using the 120s chart and dice! \u00a0Also, work on using the ten frame to make 10 as discussed in our math meeting today!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Reminders:<\/p>\n

    Valentine\u2019s Day Celebration &<\/p>\n

    100th<\/sup> Day Party will be Thursday, February 11th. (NO school Friday, Feb. 12 or Monday, Feb 15th)<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    100th<\/sup> day project Posters!\u00a0 Due on Thursday, February 11th.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Items in the past have included but were not limited to: toothpicks, cotton balls, paper clips, stickers, cereal pieces, dots, pictures, etc.\u2014be creative!!\u00a0 Have fun!!\u00a0 We will take all of the creations and create a 100 museum for all the children to take a tour through.\u00a0 Please be sure that your child\u2019s name is on their poster board so that it may be returned.\u00a0 Please ask your child to count out the items by ones, fives, AND tens.\u00a0 Your child should be doing the creating, gluing and counting with your assistance ONLY if necessary.\u00a0 This is a hands-on project for your child.<\/p>\n

    We will decorate bags at school for Valentine\u2019s- please do NOT send in boxes.\u00a0 We have 18 students in our class.\u00a0 Students need to WRITE THEIR NAME (from) on their cards that they would like to pass out to the class.\u00a0 PLEASE limit the candy (we are learning about dental health!), instead if you would like to send in a small toy or gift for the children to pass out with their cards, you may.<\/p>\n

    If you are interested in bringing in a special HEALTHY Valentine\u2019s snack please let me know. Also, if you can donate fruit loops for our 100th<\/sup> day necklaces please let me know (we will need 2 boxes).<\/p>\n

    This should be a fun day for the children.\u00a0 They\u2019ve been practicing counting to 100 so this will be a fun way to celebrate their efforts!\u00a0 If you have any questions please let us know.<\/p>\n
