  1. Folder- \u00a0Yy bag! \u00a0Today we talked about the letter Yy and its \/y\/ sound, like in yo-yo, yellow, or yarn.\u00a0 Please find 3-5 items at home that start with the w sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Tuesday, January 26th<\/sup>).<\/li>\n
  2. Reading Bag- DIGRAPH AND BLENDS chart\u2013 please review all the circled sound-letter relationships, sight words, books!!\u2014 15-20 minutes EACH Night! students will be tested over their sight words THIS\u00a0week, so make sure to practice each night!<\/li>\n
  3. Math Bag- shapes book and math games.<\/li>\n
  4. POEM BOOKS read the poems and send back to school tomorrow Tuesday, January 26, 2010.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. \u00a0It is a short week with Friday being a half day due to the end of the marking period. \u00a0This also means we will be doing a lot of assessments so please continue to make sure your child is getting enough sleep each night, eating healthy, having a positive attitude, and doing homework each night!<\/li>\n
    2. TODAY starts Oakman School\u2019s water drive. \u00a0Please bring in a case of water by FRIDAY to help families in Flint. \u00a0On Friday morning, there will be a semi-truck at Oakman to take our collections to Flint, Michigan. \u00a0Please take your donations to the stage on the gym.<\/li>\n
