  1. Folder-shape sort, color, cut, and glue!<\/li>\n
  2. Reading Bag- DIGRAPH chart, sight words, books!!\u2014 15-20 minutes EACH Night!<\/li>\n
  3. Math Bag- shapes book and math games.<\/li>\n
  4. Social Studies Timeline Project-\u00a0These projects were due today. \u00a0If your child did not turn it in, they were sent home with the paper again. \u00a0Please make sure they turn it in by Friday,\u00a0\u00a0January 22 or they will NOT\u00a0receive\u00a0any credit. \u00a0Remember to\u00a0have your child practice reading each of the sentences on their paper so they can share with the class. \u00a0Most students share today and did an excellent job! \u00a0Thanks for helping to prepare them at home!<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. POEM book-\u00a0a few students did not return today, please bring TOMORROW so we can add new poems!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    NWEA TESTING IS THIS WEEK:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

    Today (Tuesday) we reading today.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

    TOMORROW- LATE START<\/strong> Wednesday, January 20th<\/sup> at 9:45 will be math.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Friday, January 22nd<\/sup> we will finish testing if needed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The NWEA test is a VERY important piece of data that helps us determine if your child is on track and ready for 1st<\/sup> grade (along with other pieces of information, such as DRA, math checklists, various performance tasks, etc.)\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    It also allows us to see areas of strengths and weaknesses.\u00a0 This allows us to focus instruction and provide challenging lessons at their level.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    As discussed at parent teacher conferences in the fall, each student has a growth goal for this test.\u00a0 We will be sending a NWEA report home with their report card to show you how they did and if the met their goal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Thank you for your support to help each child do their BEST on this important TEST!<\/strong><\/p>\n

    ***Please make sure your child gets a good night sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and comes to school with a positive attitude!!***<\/strong><\/p>\n
