Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!<strong>* TEST OVERALL 40 words will be when we come back from Mid-Winter break!!!*<\/strong><\/li><li>READING GROUP BAG \u2014 Everyone has a couple books to read over break, please read every day.  READ every day and focus on fluency and comprehension.\u00a0<em>*ks will not be given every day so more focus can be on comprehension.\u00a0<\/em><strong>To move UP reading levels students need to be able to read the words accurately and COMPREHEND (understand what I read).<\/strong>\u00a0After reading books, please practice using the handout for the \u201cretelling rope\u201d see picture below!!<em>\u00a0(Don\u2019t forget to ask your child\u2013 what was your favorite part of the story and WHY? or what did this story remind you of?)<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>4.&nbsp;<strong>Math Homework MODULE 4 Book, Lesson 8\u2014 homework helper is on page 31 and homework is on page 33 (Try \u201cchallenge\u201d on the back!)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1106\" height=\"622\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BHN5UtkMbIs?feature=oembed\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>5. NEW library books were chosen yesterday. Students can keep at home and return after Mid-Winter break (Monday, Feb. 24) and we will check out new books on Tuesday, Feb. 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reminders:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tomorrow is college day. Wear a shirt or hat for your favorite college!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Friday will be our Valentine\u2019s Day Party at school.
