We are finished with NWEA for winter the scores are taped on the left hand side of the folders.\u00a0I am so proud of each and every student.<\/strong>\u00a0Scores from today are inside their folders and a FULL report will be sent home in a couple of weeks (once the whole district is finished testing). We will test one more time in the spring. Report cards<\/strong> will be coming home today,<\/strong> sign the envelope<\/strong> and return to school Monday, January 27, 2020. Keep the report card and the papers inside, just return the envelope signed, Monday, January 27, 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Oakman Folder- sign and return behavior calendar for JANUARY!! <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    1. Reading bag-\u00a035 TOTAL<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0NEW SIGHT WORDS ARE IN THEIR BAGS\u00a0<\/em>one, little, play, me, here<\/strong>, am, do, not, who, with\u2014 I, like, the, see, we, go, can, she, a, at, is, was, will, he, has, on, in, and, you, up, look, it, my, to, and dog. Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!* And work on using them correctly when speaking in COMPLETE SENTENCES for example: He (when talking about a boy) vs. She (when talking about a girl). And \u201con\u201d like the book is \u201con the table.\u201d\u00a0<\/li>
    2. READING GROUP BAG \u2014 Everyone received a new book today. I regrouped the kids based on their reading levels. Read and sign the log and please review the ideas below to extend their reading.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      ***IF YOU HAVE FLUENCY DOWN, PARENTS PLEASE EXTEND the reading by asking questions such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Find the WORD \u201cthe\u201d on this page.
      What LETTER\/SOUND do you see\/hear at the beginning of the WORD?
      What LETTER\/SOUND do you see\/hear at the middle of the WORD?
      What LETTER\/SOUND do you see\/hear at the end of the WORD?
      After reading, can you RETELL what happened?? What happened in the beginning, middle, and end?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. Math Homework-MODULE 3 Lesson 29 on page 313 (homework helper is on page 311).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
