Our NWEA math test is Wednesday, please make sure to get a good nights sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and be ready to do your BEST on the Test (take your time, check your answers, listen to questions and answer choices carefully!!)<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

NWEA TESTING HERE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday, January 15th will be Math<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(NEST WEEK)\u00a0Wednesday, January 22nd will be Reading<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NWEA test is a VERY important piece of data that helps us determine if your child is on track and ready for 1st<\/sup> grade (along with other pieces of information, such as DRA, math checklists, various performance tasks, etc.)  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also allows us to see areas of strengths and weaknesses.  This allows us to focus instruction and provide challenging lessons at their level. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important that students are prepared, take their time and take this test seriously. This is an online assessment and will be administered completely on a computer.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As discussed at parent teacher conferences in the fall, each student has a growth goal for this test.  We will be sending a NWEA report home with their report card to show you how they did and if the met their goal.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
