Homework\u2014 ( 4 things!!!)<\/strong>  AND POEM BOOKS (Will collect tomorrow) and NEW Library Books (Can keep at home but MUST return on Monday!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Oakman Folder- sign and return behavior calendar for OCTOBER! PLEASE SEE THE ORANGE HALF SHEET AND SEND IN $2.00 with your child TOMORROW so they can participate in TRUCK or TREAT at the end of the day on Thursday, October 31 (This is separate from our classroom party that will be in the morning at at lunch).<\/strong>Letter Ll bag! Today we talked about the letter Ll and its \/l\/ sound, like in lion, leaf, log, etc. Please find 3 at home that start with the l sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Wednesday, October 30th)  Thank you!<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    2. Reading bag- NEW SIGHT WORDS<\/strong> ARE IN THEIR BAGS\u2014 I<\/strong>, like<\/strong>, the, see, we<\/strong>,  go<\/strong>, can, she, a,<\/strong> at<\/strong>, is, was, will<\/strong>, he, has,<\/strong> and on<\/strong>. Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!* And work on using them correctly when speaking in COMPLETE SENTENCES for example: He (when talking about a boy) vs. She (when talking about a girl). And \u201con\u201d like the book is \u201con the table\u201d (see picture\u2013 we will be learning more position words soon so start using at home\u2014 under, above, in between, next to, in the middle, etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. READING GROUP BAG \u2013 Read and Re-read for fluency <\/strong>books to be ready to WRITE about our reading\u2013 work on letter sounds!!! (Also can you login code and password to read\/listen to more books on the computer)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Please fill in log each day!!! Please use the pointer finger to put their finger under the first letter of each word as they read. Please read the book at least 3 times and sign the paper inside their bags so I know they did their job! Please send the reading bag back to school each day. ***IF YOU HAVE FLUENCY DOWN, PARENTS PLEASE EXTEND<\/strong> the reading by asking questions such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
