Reading bag-&nbsp;<strong>NEW SIGHT WORDS<\/strong>&nbsp;ARE IN THEIR BAGS\u2014&nbsp;<strong>I<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;like<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;the, see, we<\/strong>, &nbsp;<strong>go<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;can, she, a,<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>at<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>is, was,&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>will<\/strong>. Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!* And work on using them correctly when speaking in COMPLETE SENTENCES for example: Today&nbsp;<strong>is<\/strong>&nbsp;Friday. Yesterday&nbsp;<strong>was<\/strong>&nbsp;Thursday. Tomorrow&nbsp;<strong>will&nbsp;<\/strong>be Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. READING GROUP BAG \u2013&nbsp;<strong>Read and Re-read for fluency&nbsp;<\/strong>books to be ready to WRITE about our reading\u2013 work on letter sounds!!! (Also can you login code and password to read\/listen to more books on the computer)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please fill in log each day!!! Please use the pointer finger to put their finger under the first letter of each word as they read. Please read the book at least 3 times and sign the paper inside their bags so I know they did their job! Please send the reading bag back to school each day. ***IF YOU HAVE FLUENCY DOWN, PARENTS PLEASE&nbsp;<strong>EXTEND<\/strong>&nbsp;the reading by asking questions such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Find the WORD \u201cthe\u201d on this page.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>What LETTER do you see at the beginning of the WORD?<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>What LETTER do you see at the end of the WORD?<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>After reading, can you RETELL what happened?? What happened in the beginning, middle, and end??<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Math Homework- Lesson 30 homework page 123-124 (helper on page 121).\u2014Make sure number formation is correct!! If not, ease and try again!! Making 10!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>************POETRY BOOK\u2014 read new poems, RAIN ON THE ROOFTOPS and talk about the colors for capital letters, ending marks, and rhyming words!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>***Make sure all 4 things (PLUS POETRY BOOKS) come back to school in backpacks!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reminders:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24 is PICTURE DAY!!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thursday, October 24 at 8am, there is a PTA meeting!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10-28-19&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Spirit Week (see small flyer).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>10-31-19 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Halloween Day<\/strong>\u2014 party details on yellow sheet!!!&nbsp;send in $5.00 and paper by Monday, October 28th!!!<\/li><li><strong>11-01-19 Half Day \u2013 Elementary students.
