Reading bag- NEW SIGHT WORDS<\/strong> ARE IN THEIR BAGS\u2014 I<\/strong>, like<\/strong>, the, see, we<\/strong>, go<\/strong>, can, she, a,<\/strong> at<\/strong>, is, was, <\/strong>and will<\/strong>. Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!* And work on using them correctly when speaking in COMPLETE SENTENCES for example: Today is<\/strong> Friday. Yesterday was<\/strong> Thursday. Tomorrow will <\/strong>be Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. READING GROUP BAG \u2013 Read and Re-read for fluency <\/strong>books to be ready to WRITE about our reading\u2013 work on letter sounds!!! (Also can you login code and password to read\/listen to more books on the computer)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please fill in log each day!!! Please use the pointer finger to put their finger under the first letter of each word as they read. Please read the book at least 3 times and sign the paper inside their bags so I know they did their job! Please send the reading bag back to school each day. ***IF YOU HAVE FLUENCY DOWN, PARENTS PLEASE EXTEND<\/strong> the reading by asking questions such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- What LETTER do you see at the beginning of the WORD?<\/strong><\/li>
- What LETTER do you see at the end of the WORD?<\/strong><\/li>
- After reading, can you RETELL what happened?? What happened in the beginning, middle, and end??<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
4. Math Homework- Lesson 28 homework page 115 (helper on page 113).\u2014Make sure number formation is correct!! If not, ease and try again!! Making 10!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
