Reading bag- NEW SIGHT WORDS ARE IN THEIR BAGS\u2014&nbsp;<strong>I<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;like<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;the, see, we<\/strong>, &nbsp;<strong>go<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;can, she, a,&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>at.<\/strong>&nbsp;Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS! ***Students will be tested over these 10 words NEXT WEEK so practice each night!!****<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. NEW READING GROUP BAG \u2013 Please fill in log each day!!! Please use the pointer finger to put their finger under the first letter of each word as they read. Please read the book at least 3 times and sign the paper inside their bags so I know they did their job! Please send the reading bag back to school each day. GREAT JOB WITH BAGS\u2014 read same books tonight for FLUENCY! ***IF YOU HAVE FLUENCY DOWN, PARENTS PLEASE&nbsp;<strong>EXTEND<\/strong>&nbsp;the reading by asking questions such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Find the WORD \u201cthe\u201d on this page.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>What LETTER do you see at the beginning of the WORD?<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>What LETTER do you see at the end of the WORD?<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>After reading, can you RETELL what happened?? What happened in the beginning, middle, and end??<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Math Homework Workbook Lesson 20 homework page 83 AND 84 (helper on page 81).\u2014 I WILL CHECK BOOKS TOMORROW!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. POETRY BOOKS\u2013 review ALL POEMS and practice new poem, Apples. Ask what the different colors mean. Red= capital letter at the beginning of the sentence, green=ending mark, and yellow=sight words pink+ rhyming words and purple=commas! ***Make sure your child points at each word as they read this poem to you. Parents, Please sign the log in the front of the notebook tonight and tomorrow\u2013 I WILL COLLECT POEM BOOKS ON WEDNESDAY!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>***Make sure all 5 things come back to school in backpacks!!!***<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reminders:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>10-11-19 ***THIS FRIDAY!!!** Half Day \u2013 All students AM.
