Homework\u2014 (3 things!!!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Reading\/Math Bag-Please take 15 minutes to \u201cread\u201d NEW books each night we talked about three ways to read a book\u2026 *read the pictures, *. read the words, *. retell the story. and practice ABCs using chart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Math Homework Workbook\u2013 Module 1, lesson 6 on page 27 (homework helper is page 25) . ***REMEMBER 1 page each night!! Even if absent you can do your page or make it up when you are feeling better to stay on track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
***Make sure all 3 things come back to school in backpacks!!! It was another long day \u2013 please send in reusable water bottles with your child\u2019s name on it so that they can keep it on the table and drink water all day long. Also, please make sure your child is going to bed early so they can get 10-12 hours of sleep and be ready to learn at school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday night is OPEN HOUSE from 6:00-7:30 (there will by a FREE ice cream social at 5:00 by PTA!!!)- please plan to come with your child. They will be so excited to show you all around the classroom AND school\u2014 where they go to gym, music, art, science, library, etc! There will also be sign up sheets for PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES in November. Hope you can make it!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Also note that Thursday morning we will take NWEA test in math on the computers. The students did their best on Reading Monday and we ask the same for Thursday.
