Today we took a practice NWEA reading test\u2014 ask your child how they did?\u00a0 We talked about taking our time and listening to each question carefully\u2013 it is a test not a race!!! We reviewed the practice test together and will take again before break to try to get \u201cmore points!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<h4 class=\"entry-title\">2. Reading\/Math Bag-Please take 15 minutes to \u201cread\u201d each night and practice sight words ***NEW BOOKS IN BAGS AND NEW SIGHT WORD: dog<\/h4>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<h2>** All sight words on ring are: I, the, can, see, like, to, look, at, come, and, a, we, go, my, in, is, has, for, are, here, you, AND today\u2019s new word \u201cdog\u201d. ***ALL should be memorized for reading and some should be able to spell on own.<\/h2>\n<h3>3. READING GROUP BAG\u2014&gt; read NEW black and white book 3 times remembering to point to each word as you read AND extend to asking questions such as: \u201cFind a sight word on this page. Point to word that starts with the \/s\/ sound. ETC.\u201d<\/h3>\n<h1><strong><em>Sign reading log for new books!\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/h1>\n<h3>4. Math- NO Green Math Workbook Assigned\u2026 we are assessing 2d and 3d shapes this week!! so work on songs and describing shapes!!<\/h3>\n<p>*www.zearn.org is WORKING!!!
