Oakman Folder-Sign\u00a0and return behavior calendar for November\u2014Letter Yy bag!\u00a0Today we talked about the letter Yy and its \/y\/ sound, like in yellow, yo-yo, yes etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that start with the y sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Tuesday, November 20th).\u00a0 Thank you!<\/em><\/h3>\n

*please review the sight word assessment with your child and begin to start \u201cspelling\u201d and writing the words at home.\u00a0 If you child has ALL their sight words, begin putting them together to make simple sentences: \u201cI can see my cat.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/header>\n

3. READING GROUP BAG\u2014> read NEW black and white book 3 times remembering to point to each word as you read AND extend to asking questions such as: \u201cFind a sight word on this page. Point to word that starts with the \/s\/ sound. ETC.\u201d<\/h3>\n
