  1. Oakman Folder-\u00a0Sign<\/strong>\u00a0and return behavior calendar for November\u2014 parents please initial next to the circle for today.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Letter Ww bag!\u00a0 Today we talked about the letter Ww and its \/w\/ sound, like in wagon, window, wet etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that start with the w sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Tuesday, November 12th).\u00a0 Thank you!<\/em><\/li>\n
  2. Reading\/Math Bag-Please take 15 minutes to \u201cread\u201d each night and practice sight words

    ** All sight words on ring are: I, the, can, see, like, to, look, at, come, and, a, we, go, my, in, is,has\u2013 first 20 words assessment will be next week so practice each night!!!<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  3. READING GROUP BAG\u2014> read NEW black and white book 3 times remembering to point to each word as you read AND extend to asking questions such as: \u201cFind a sight word on this page. Point to word that starts with the \/s\/ sound. ETC.\u201d

    Math-Today we started geometry.\u00a0 We did a partner activity to talk about and sort shapes based on attributes(size, number of sides, curved vs. straight edges, etc.)<\/em>\u00a0 Please talk to your child tonight about SHAPES and how they can use words to describe the shapes they see in the environment.<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n
