I am so excited that our class has been sponsored to receive one free book a month for 10 months to build your library at home.\u00a0 Did you know kids who read for just 20 minutes a day are more successful in school and life.\u00a0 We have been discussing three ways to read a book 1.\/ read the pictures, 2.\/ read the words, and 3.\/ retell the story.\u00a0 I will send the reading bag home each night for you to read with your child using the pointer I gave them to follow the words.\u00a0 Please enjoy the books and the special time with your child to read together.\u00a0 Also I sent the first sight word home in their reading bag on the sight word wheel \u201cI\u201d practice the words daily and try to find them in books together.\u00a0 Thank you so much, let the reading begin!<\/p>\n
