  1. Oakman Folder-\u00a0Sign<\/strong>\u00a0and return behavior calendar for September\u2014 parents please initial next to the circle for today (September 10th).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0**Please complete the letter Ss bag and bring items that start with the \/s\/ sound to share tomorrow if you did not bring in today.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n
  2. Reading\/Math Bag-Please take 15 minutes to \u201cread\u201d the NEW early readers in your child\u2019s bag.\u00a0 Remember there are 3 ways to \u201cread\u201d a book!\u00a0 Also, practice counting using the 100s chart (point to each number as you count). Use your NEW pointer finger to read and\/or count the words on each page.\u00a0 We got our first sight word today “I” please look at the sight word wheel in their reading bags.\u00a0 Make sure it is in the reading bag each day when it comes back to school.<\/li>\n

    Math- green workbook read page 19 together and then complete Lesson 5 page 21 in workbook (cutouts on page 23)\u2013don\u2019t tear it out leave it in the workbook and return to school tomorrow.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n
  5. ***For those familiar with CLEVER and our online learning tools, please use your child\u2019s username (blue number) and password (red number on back of card) to begin using online learning\u2026 I have a link to ABCya games on my page (this is what we are using in class to start). ***<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Step by Step directions will be sent home soon so students can begin using online learning tools as part of their homework time.<\/p>\n

    Reminders:<\/p>\n

    We will have NWEA testing tomorrow for READING is the morning and READING in the afternoon.\u00a0 If you are able to bring in a \u201cspecial HEALTHY\u201d snack such as apple or banana, let me know!\u00a0 We will test at 9 am so I plan to give the students a small snack in the morning.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Open House is Thursday 6-7pm, hope you can make it!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Friday is a half day for all students. Dismissal is at 11:45 (No school lunch).<\/p>\n
