2. Reading Bag- Please read ALL books in your bag, especially your reading group ones and the extra practice leveled ones!!!!!!!!!***Practice ALL 40 sight word cards including NEW word \u201cblue<\/b>.\u201d<\/p>\n

**Parents please read storybooks to your child over break and ask them questions like the following cards:<\/p>\n

3. Math Bag\u2013 Practice using 100 chart to count to 100 by 1\u2019s, 5\u2019s, and 10\u2019s.\u00a0 Try without chart! Try in a song! Try writing numbers!\u00a0 (MIX IT UP! MAKE IT FUN!) Check out our new homemade rekenrek to add and subtract to 20.<\/p>\n

5. Green Math Work Book for MODULES 2 & 3 \u2014 please complete the book over break to review measurement for NWEA that we will be taking for the last time when we come back to school in April!!<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 Read all of your poems to your mom, dad, sister, and your brother.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Have a wonderful spring break and remember to keep reading! Students should be able to read their LEVELED books in their bags mostly independently.\u00a0 Use the prompts on the NEW strategy bookmark they have in their bags when they come to a word they do not know\u2014DO NOT GIVE THEM THE WORD OR LET THEM GUESS\u2014 they should be able to use their strategies to figure it out!!! They need this skill in order to go to 1st grade so practice! practice! practice!<\/p>\n
