***Practice ALL\u00a027 sight word cards including NEW word \u201ccome.\u201d Have your child look for this word in books and talk to them about how to use it properly in a sentence. Have them use the word in a sentence they come up with!<\/p>\n

3. Math Bag\u2013 Practice using 100 chart to count to 100 by 1\u2019s, 5\u2019s, and 10\u2019s.\u00a0 Try without chart! Try in a song! Try writing numbers!\u00a0 (MIX IT UP! MAKE IT FUN!) Check out our new homemade rekenrek to add and subtract to 20.<\/p>\n

We will have a class party on Wednesday, February 14th<\/sup>\u00a0from\u00a0 9am to 12 noon.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0We will be doing some valentine\u2019s math with candy hearts (graphing) and making a craft in the morning.\u00a0\u00a0 We will have a special PIZZA PARTY lunch and snack at 11:15 followed by passing out valentine\u2019s cards.\u00a0\u00a0PARENT ARE INVITED TO COME!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0If you would like your child to pass out valentine\u2019s,\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>Please send in 16 valentine cards\/treats signed by your child (Leave to the TO part BLANK.)<\/u><\/strong>Please send in $5.00 for the party supplies by Monday, February 12th<\/sup>.\u00a0 This will cover cost of the pizza, craft supplies, juice, and snacks.<\/p>\n

PLEASE send in a shoe box, cereal box, tissue box, or some kind of box that size so we can decorate a valentine\u2019s box on Wednesday!<\/p>\n
