1. Folder\u2014 sign behavior calendar for JANUARY!\u2014 Ch WORD bag, Math Page,<\/p>\n

Ch<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0WORD<\/u>\u00a0bag!<\/p>\n

Today we talked about WORDS that have a\u00a0ch<\/em>\u00a0sound like, chair, cheese, cherry, chick, peach, beach, sandwich etc.\u00a0 Please find 3-5 items at home that have the\u00a0ch\u00a0<\/em>sound in the WORD and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Tuesday, January 30th).\u00a0 Thank you!<\/p>\n

2. Reading Bag-<\/p>\n

#1 Reading Group Books\u2014fill out READING LOG for NEW book! Students have a log in their reading bags!<\/p>\n

#2 Practice ALL 25 sight word cards including NEW word \u201cshe.\u201d Have your child look for this word in books and talk to them about how to use it properly in a sentence (for a Girl). \u00a0Have them use the word in a sentence they come up with! Practice the sight word she tonight for homework.<\/p>\n

3. Math Bag- Eureka Math homework is in the folder page 3 please return tomorrow.<\/p>\n

4. Spelling Notebook- See inside cover\u00a0 for nightly homework: write the words three times each<\/p>\n

Spelling Weekly Homework Assignments<\/b><\/p>\n

Monday<\/strong>: write the words three times each<\/p>\n

Example: is, is , is<\/p>\n

Tuesday<\/strong>: write the consonants in blue and the vowels in red<\/p>\n

Example: mat<\/p>\n

Wednesday<\/strong>: rainbow words, write each letter in a different color<\/p>\n

Example: cat<\/p>\n

Thursday<\/strong>: Use each word in a sentence. (Use sight words and s-t-r-e-a-c-h the sounds for the words you don’t know) Underline the spelling word inside the sentence.<\/p>\n

Friday<\/strong>: TEST DAY<\/p>\n
