This week we will focus on:<\/p>\n

Reading\/ELA: We will focus on adjectives, prefixes, and word endings. \u00a0We will also be writing an informational story about our meal worms and completing the district writing prompt. Your child\u00a0should be reading for 20 minutes daily. Have your child practice highlighted sight words in reading bag and read books in their reading bags and on Myon.\u00a0 Spelling homework is also daily please follow directions on white paper on the inside cover of your child\u2019s homework.<\/p>\n

Math: we will\u00a0 learn about adding 2 digit numbers using an base ten blocks\u00a0and other strategies: this will consist of practice worksheets, math bag activities\/games and Xtramath and Everyday Math online. Math bags have been coming home please use the items in there to practice what we have been learning in class.<\/p>\n

Science: We will be learning about the life cycle of a meal worm and butterfly.<\/p>\n

Social Studies: we will be learning about rules, power with authority and power without authority.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
