Letter Zz bag!<\/p>\n

Today we talked about the letter Zz and its \/z\/ sound, like in zebra, zoo, etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that start with the z sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class\u00a0(Wednesday, November 8th ).\u00a0 Thank you!<\/p>\n

2. Reading Bag-Practice ALL 10 sight word cards including NEW word\u00a0\u201cin\u201d\u2013\u00a0 \u00a0All students also have gotten a black and white paper book from their READING GROUP<\/strong>\u2026\u00a0practice pointing to each word and READING THE WORDS in this book\u2014they should be able to do it mostly on their own\u2013 please check in and monitor so they are practicing correctly!<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Math Bag-\u00a0NEW MATH WORKBOOK\u2014 finish unit 1 (up to page 13)\u00a0by\u00a0November 9th<\/strong>\u2014that is about 1 PAGE EACH DAY\u00a0using number chart to practice counting and number recognition, use counting cubes to work on one-to-one with counting.\u00a0\u00a0NEW!!! students made a \u201cI can Make Ten\u201d book that they can practice reading and making the numbers.<\/p>\n

Our field trip to LEGO LAND is\u00a0WEDNESDAY, November 8th<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0(*Remember NO SCHOOL TOMORROW- Tuesday, November 7th<\/sup>).\u00a0 We will leave on the bus at around 9:15.<\/p>\n

Some things to remember:<\/p>\n

We will be leaving school around 9:15.\u00a0 ALL students will need to use the restroom before we get on the bus.\u00a0 If you think your child, may have difficultly on the\u00a0long<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0bus ride,\u00a0please send in a change of clothes.<\/u><\/p>\n

ALL students and parents chaperons must pack a\u00a0lunch and bring a drink<\/u>.\u00a0 Please pack it in a plastic\/paper bag with NAME ON IT!\u00a0 We will throw away after our lunch time.<\/p>\n

Parents that are driving, will be able to follow the bus.<\/p>\n

If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Rawson or Mrs. Fowler<\/p>\n

We are looking forward to a fun and educational trip.<\/p>\n
