Letter Hh bag!<\/p>\n

Today we talked about the letter Hh and its \/h\/ sound, like in heart, horse, hot etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that start with the h sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Tuesday, October 24th).\u00a0 Thank you!<\/p>\n

2. Reading Bag-Practice ALL 6 sight word cards including NEW word \u201cyou\u201d\u2013\u00a0 \u00a0All students also have gotten a black and white paper book from their READING GROUP<\/strong>\u2026\u00a0practice pointing to each word and READING THE WORDS in this book\u2014they should be able to do it mostly on their own\u2013 please check in and monitor so they are practicing correctly!<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Math Bag- using number chart to practice counting and number recognition, use counting cubes to work on one-to-one with counting.\u00a0\u00a0NEW!!! students made a \u201cI can Make Ten\u201d book that they can practice reading and making the numbers. Play your pattern game at home.<\/p>\n

Reminders:<\/p>\n

Wednesday (October 25) there will be a kindergarten parent meeting in the classroom at 2:30.\u00a0 It will last until dismissal.\u00a0 Please mark your calendars and plan to attend!\u00a0\u00a0Parents will be given a MATH WORKBOOK for their child ONLY IF they are at this important meeting!!!<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n
