1. Folder\u2014 sign behavior calendar\u00a0FOR OCTOBER!\u00a0 Have your child practice reading their 3 goals to you in the form of \u201cI can\u2026.\u201d statements.\u00a0 \u00a0I met with each student and they picked a behavior, math, and reading goal to work on\u2026. Tomorrow they will be making A VIDEO RECORDING reading their goal so they need to practice tonight!<\/p>\n

Letter Ii bag! if you haven\u2019t brought it in yet\u2026<\/p>\n

2. Reading Bag-Practice ALL 5 sight word cards including NEW word \u201cI\u201d-\u00a0 See if they can find this new sight word in their books!\u00a0work on name puzzle, ABC chart (identifying letters and sounds\u2013try out of order!), each child has books to practice \u201creading the pictures\u201d (you can read the words for the to practice listening to reading).\u00a0 \u00a0All students also have gotten a black and white paper book from their READING GROUP<\/strong>\u2026\u00a0practice pointing to each word and READING THE WORDS in this book (read three times each) \u2014they should be able to do it mostly on their own\u2013 please check in and monitor so they are practicing correctly!<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Math Bag- Making a pattern look in the math bag and play at home!<\/p>\n

Next Wednesday (October 25) there will be a kindergarten parent meeting in the classroom at 2:30.\u00a0 It will last until dismissal.\u00a0 Please mark your calendars and plan to attend!<\/p>\n
