1. Folder\u2014 sign behavior calendar\u00a0FOR OCTOBER!<\/p>\n

Letter Nn bag!<\/p>\n

Today we talked about the letter Nn and its \/n\/ sound, like in nickel, nose, necklace etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that start with the n sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Tuesday, October 17th).\u00a0 Thank you!<\/p>\n

2. Reading Bag-Reading bag, work on name puzzle, ABC chart (identifying letters and sounds\u2013try out of order!), each child has books to practice \u201creading the pictures\u201d (you can read the words for the to practice listening to reading).\u00a0 \u00a0All students also have gotten a black and white paper book from their READING GROUP<\/strong>\u2026\u00a0practice pointing to each word and READING THE WORDS in this book\u2014they should be able to do it mostly on their own\u2013 please check in and monitor so they are practicing correctly read them 3 times!<\/strong>\u00a0 Practice ALL sight word cards-\u00a0 See if they can find this new sight word in their books!<\/p>\n

3. Math Bag- using number chart to practice counting and number recognition, use counting cubes to work on one-to-one with counting.\u00a0\u00a0NEW!!! students made a \u201cI can Make Ten\u201d book that they can practice reading and making the numbers to match the ten frames with their fingers, See example below<\/p>\n
