Feb 25- Pajama Day $1, School Store<\/strong><\/p>\n

Feb 26- PTA Founder\u2019s Day dinner at Byblos<\/strong><\/p>\n

Feb 27- Core Value Assembly, Lifetouch returns<\/strong><\/p>\n

This week we will focus on:<\/p>\n

Reading\/ELA: We will focus on author\u2019s purpose and comparing the adventures of characters in different stories. Your child\u00a0should be reading for 20 minutes daily. Have your child practice highlighted sight words in reading bag and read books in their reading bags and on Myon.\u00a0 Spelling homework is also daily please follow directions on white paper on the inside cover of your child\u2019s homework.<\/p>\n

Math: we will\u00a0 learn how to subtract and find the unknown-addend. Students will have math homework everyday: this will consist of practice worksheets, math bag activities\/games and Xtramath and Everyday Math online. Math bags have been coming home please use the items in there to practice what we have been learning in class.<\/p>\n

Science: We will be learning about matter:solids, liquids, and gases.<\/p>\n

Social Studies: we will be learning about landmasses and bodies of water.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n

\nThese are the spelling words your child should be practicing at home. The spelling pattern for this week is \u2013st and sp. Make sure your child is doing the spelling homework in their spelling\/poetry notebook on a daily basis.
