Join us every Tuesday morning beginning February 10th for a parenting workshop that highlights a program in Dearborn Public Schools called \u201cParent Talk.\u201d Even if you took this class two years ago come and freshen up your skills.<\/p>\n<p>District Parent Educator Mrs. Margaret King Ahmed will be our guest speaker.\u00a0 You will learn how to discipline your child gently, yet still be effective, and teach lessons that will last a lifetime.<\/p>\n<p>Classes begin Tuesday, February 10th at 8:50am in the cafeteria and run once a week for 10 sessions. They will be in Arabic and English. Students should be reading for 20 minutes daily. Have your child practice highlighted sight words in reading bag and read books on Myon.\u00a0 Spelling homework is also daily please follow directions on white paper on the inside cover of your child\u2019s homework.<\/p>\n<p>Math: we will\u00a0 learn to make equal sums and find true and false equations. \u00a0Students will have math homework everyday: this will consist of practice worksheets, math bag activities\/games and Xtramath and Everyday Math online.
