{"id":106,"date":"2015-11-24T12:18:50","date_gmt":"2015-11-24T17:18:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/pelaccio\/?p=106"},"modified":"2015-11-24T12:18:50","modified_gmt":"2015-11-24T17:18:50","slug":"winter-is-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/pelaccio\/2015\/11\/24\/winter-is-here\/","title":{"rendered":"Winter is here!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello First Grade Families!<\/p>\n<p>Winter is here and the students need to be dressed for the weather. \u00a0Please make sure that you are sending your child with boots, snow pants (when we have snow), winter coat, hats and mittens or gloves. \u00a0It is also important to have your child practice getting their winter gear on quickly. \u00a0We will be going outside two times a day as long as it is not too cold. \u00a0Please make sure to label everything with your child&#8217;s first and last name to prevent items from getting lost or mixed up. \u00a0It is also helpful to send your child with a large bag to store their winter clothing when we are in the classroom. \u00a0Boots tend to get slushy and wet. \u00a0Please send an extra pair of shoes so that your child does not track the wet, winter mess into our classroom. \u00a0If your child will be wearing shoes or boots with laces, please practice tying together. \u00a0It is important for you child to be able to take care of themselves as much as possible when they are at school.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for your help and Happy Thanksgiving!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello First Grade Families!
