Change Over Time<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Students will research the life cycle of a butterfly and a frog. The students will act as a scientist as they observe and record the life cycle of the butterfly and the frog by recording their findings into their journals. At the end of their investigations the students will be able to choose which animal\u2019s life cycle that they would like to present their findings for by using a poster, diorama, or a brochure.<\/p>\n

Students will combine their knowledge of living things and life cycles to plan (drawings), develop and help to create an outdoor habitat to attract native butterfly species to our school.<\/p>\n

Students will combine their knowledge of severe weather and safety to create simple project where they are required to research a type of Michigan severe weather and create poster to share with the kindergarten class.<\/p>\n

Living and Non-Living<\/h1>\n

Students will learn the difference between living and nonliving things. The students will discover what living things need for survival.<\/p>\n
